プロフィール

9歳で潰瘍性大腸炎を発症。北海道大学在学中に増悪し第三内科に入院歴をもつ。研修医、レジデントを経て大学院卒業後、2008年に炎症性腸疾患グループを新たに設立しグループ長に就任。自らの患者経験に裏打ちされた治療方針のもと、関連病院を含めた全道の炎症性腸疾患診療の標準化を目指し活動している。
「難治性炎症性腸管障害に関する調査研究」（いわゆるIBD班）研究協力者として継続して参加しているほか、2015年度からは「抗菌薬３剤併用による難治性潰瘍性大腸炎の治療」研究班班長を務めた。
